Many people started are using twitter & every one is using twitter for there own purpose. When it comes to tracking then how we should track twitter traffic?
As a social media user I usually share my blog to my twitter account and I am receiving good no of RT & clicks for my posts but google analytic was not showing me all twitter traffic.
There are so many shorten url websites which can help us to track no of clicks we are generating from twitter.
I tried these two & then it started showing me the no of clicks for my links but Google Analytic was still not showing me twitter traffic count. After some research I found Google analytic tool builder which can help us to track traffic details for our specific landing page.
Here we can create our own Google link which can help us to track traffic count . We just need to enter “Campaign Source”, “Campaign Medium” and “Campaign Name” & then click on generate link. It will show us a new Google link which we can share with our twitter friends & it will start showing you results.
You just need to enter in your google analytic account & click on campaign.
Then it will start showing us results like:

This is interesting, although GA does not record data in real time, so there is some granuarity lost in the process. Yet this does help to see if traffic clicks onto one’s website if provided on the bio. Plus there are a lot of different Twitter analytic tools out there. Still a great post! Thanks for sharing it.

So once you click the generate URL button within Google Analytics, you copy the generated URL, then go into your Twitter account, and paste the URL into the ‘More Info URL’ field under your settings, is that correct?
