Today we saw a blog post from Matt Mcgee where he has mentioned about a problem with Google maps service.

“Pre-edit: Google has contacted me to explain that this problem is NOT related to the new Service Areas feature that’s being tested.”

He has clearly mentioned that if you are a small business owner then you should stop using Google maps’ Local Business Center, a warning. His wife Cari McGee is a real estate agent who works in a wider region than just the city indicated in her business listing. He has tested this service by modifying her business listing. Within 1 hr time the business information was merged up with any other real estate agent business info.

Her real business information is “www.carimcgee.com and (509) 430-5342” but it is merged with a different real estate agent business information.
