Most of the bloggers are aware of the benefits of social media marketing and they know pretty well that if used properly it will bring huge traffic to their websites or blogs. It has lot of potential and most of the bloggers know this and try to promote their site on social media. Despite of the fact that many bloggers are having really huge traffic and profit, there are many who try their best and follow the strategies and guidelines but they are not able to get the results they are looking for. If you are one of these bloggers here are some tips to find out what is going wrong with your blog.
If you log on to social media marketing sites only for promoting your blog, you will not get the proper response. Remember, you are the user first and you should contribute to the community. Social media is all about listening + Sharing + Promotion. Do not only submit more to your own content but also visit other people’s sites and convey your opinion on their contents. let’s take example of twitter, If you have twitter account & you are just tweeting about your primary content then you are doing wrong. “Visit our guest post to goarticles about Twitter mass following“. It will give you more brief about what strategy you should use for your twitter account. Visit other social media sites just to be an active member and you can also contribute more on the submissions that you have there. The main intention is to show that you are not only to push your site there.
I would like to talk about one very famous social bookmarking website “Digg“. We all know if our blog post, Image or video will hit the digg front page then it can derive very massive traffic to our website & it can give us very good amount of back links but “IT IS NOT SO EASY“. If you are a digg community member then you will see thousands of stories are going to be submitted in a day & only selected stories are coming to the front page & out of that most of the stories are from most popular websites. To beat these websites you should have very well written & researched content. You should not just submit all your post to digg, here i suggest go slow submit your post which you think can hit the digg front page. You should study your digg category first that what kind of post are coming to the front page & try to create a post bit similar but add more value to it. “If you have any kind of issues & question about social bookmarking, social networking websites then just drop it on our social media forum“, we will try to find out the best answer for you.
If you are submitting your content to social media sites bear in mind the likes of that particular social media audience. Just keep in mind that the audience there want to be entertained and informed in a unique way. Also do not forget that your target is not to promote social media sites. So concentrate on one or two sites that are more useful and profitable for your business. The other members should not feel that they are being targeted for marketing purposes. Try to focus on small social media marketing sites or niche social media sites so that you get easy and more traffic generated to your site.
You have to build a network and stay connected to be successful in this field. Also pay attention to the content and share it with the social media site you are associated to. Make your blog work for you so that it helps you reach your goals and objectives. Make sure you participate regularly in both blogging and sharing your content with the social media sites. Be an active member, test everything and do your homework. Make sure you represent yourself truthfully and honestly.

Nice article, I have been struggling to get any sort of support on some of the main social media sites. I have tried to interact more but if I am honest I post more of my articles than I do other subjects from other blogs. I have tried a strategy of you support mine and I will support yours, but it is pretty clear that does not work. I guess time pressures tend to push you down that route, but ultimately if you don’t get a response and some support you are wasting your time anyway. Guess I need to seriously look at my tactics.
