I am a social media marketing user & from long time I was doing research to identify a good subject for my blog. Last week I realized why not talk about brand marketing & today i have written my first post about brand marketing. Today is a time when everyone is just looking for a big brand name on internet. You might have seen that online sales are just growing day by day. People prefer buy online rather than wasting time to go shop & buy. If you are an online seller then you should have a good brand marketing strategy else you might loss people attraction. Yes, developing an online brand marketing strategy can be one of the most difficult steps in your marketing plan, but it’s a crucial step in creating the company identity.

What brand means for you?

In simple words a brand is a name, sign, symbol, or anything which represents our name, our products, our service, or business identity to the world.

For your brand success you have to understand the needs and desires of your customers and prospects and you can only do this by good brand marketing strategy.

7 Common mistakes which shouldn’t be a part of your brand marketing strategy.

  1. Follow the leaders
    Looking at how other companies are getting success in their target market is not means you will also get the success with same strategy. You shouldn’t assume that if a strategy working good for others brand will work for your brand marketing. Every customer is different & every market is different & it required lots of research.
  2. Unimpressive leadership
    Leadership plays an important role in brand marketing strategy. If you have good brand value in market but your brand manager may not have any exposure to the new market or its culture, or may be too inexperienced to question the agency’s decisions.
  3. Not paying attention to Negative comments
    If a customer doesn’t like something about your products or brand, they will defiantly write something. It can be a big mistake to ignoring those wrong comments.
  4. Not Monitoring
    If you don’t know what impression your brand is creating in market? Then how can you think about to be a big brand.
  5. Lack of communications
    Communications plays a major role in brand marketing strategy & customer feedback is your brand value. Ignoring the customer feedback will be a big mistake for any brand. Not taking participates in discussions about your brand or industry will be a big reason to loss customers or prospects.
  6. Fast changes in strategy
    Yes we should make changes in our strategies time to time for better results but we should think about our customers & prospects first. If you are running an offer on your website & you stopped it without informing your customers & prospects then it will create a bad impression for your brand.
  7. Overpromising
    Promising your prospects just for conversions should not be part of your strategy. Promise what you can deliver only.
