If you are selling product or services online then you have to be very careful for your brand marketing. Brand is an identity of a company which represent them in front of millions of online users. People prefer buy online from the companies who have good reviews about their products or services. Revenue for online sellers is depend on brand value, If you don’t have any positive feedback for your product or services then you might be losing lots of revenue for your product or services.

Here are 5 mistakes you need to avoid for online branding.

  1. Not having a blog
    If you don’t have blog for your website then you might be losing lots of interaction from online visitors. Blogging is a very fastest way to attract targeted visitors to your website. As many as visitors will increase for your website then chance for conversion will also increase.  You can submit your blog to social bookmarking websites like digg, Stumbleupon to increase targeted visitors for your blog.
  2. Not paying attention for negative commenting
    Some time website owners doesn’t pay any attention about negative commenting. You can use monitoring tools for brand protection or you can user Google alerts for your website name. It will send you an email as soon as some will write something about your brand. By this you can identify negative & positive response from visitors.
  3. Don’t have product information on website
    Selling products online but haven’t mentioned any details about that product will be a big mistake.
  4. No call to action
    If your website structure doesn’t have any call to action for your website visitors then bounce rate will increase.
  5. Running old offers to website
    I have seen online sellers add banners to website with some special offers for visitors but they don’t remove those banners from website after the closing dates.
