We heard earlier that Google has launched their own shorten url service but you can’t use it like bit.ly or tinyURL.

You can’t create shorten URL for your own demand, to create google shorten URL you should have a Google toolbar or if you have any blog then just integrate it Feedburner with Twitter it will automatically create a Google shorten link for you.

At the same time now Youtube has also launched their own shorten link service. YouTube’s own URL shortening service will only be available at youtu.be. Vijay Karunamurthy, Google engineering manager announced in a statement, youtu.be as a shortener for all YouTube video links “and nothing but YouTube links”
